Hey Guys,

Heading to Campbell River area for work next week, and will have some time for fishing.I'm going to go to the Gold for some steel, just curious to the conditions of the river and number of fish right now. If possible an area to access the river would be appreciated. I don't expect any spots maybe just a road name that takes me to a productive stretch of river, I like to do the exploring myself but have never been to the area before and probably will only have a half day or so to fish. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

just got back from the gold 2 days ago was up visiting my parents fished a couple days water was coloured and dropping fast got into six winters and 1summer between 2 of us if i were you i would fish the bottom end unless we get some more rain and it bumps up again half day up their is not much time just drive thru town and head towards the old pulp mill river comes close to the road
