How often do they update the satellite photos? I was checking out the Fraser R. from Strawberry Isl. up to the Harrison mouth this morning and the Fraser looked really dirty although its fairly clean right now? Anyone???

They don't update very often. I have a few jobsites I look up from time to time and in the google pictures they still don't have roofs on them. I finished those jobs up almost 2 years ago!

The google earth pics of Chilliwack are at least 5 years old. Prospera Center is still under construction in the image. Would be nice to have more up to date pics.

the river changes every year and the pics of abbotsford/chilliwack are 4-5 years old.

If you look in google earth, the area of the screen (lower about 2/3 across) where the buffering is displayed, the year sometimes shows... You have to be zoomed in fairly close.

The year is not always there, but I always keep an eye out.

hey scruffy whats virtualt earth i know google is out dated we did some work in my parents farm back feild there was a hole that took 1200 dump trucks to fill well google earth stil shows its there lol

it's just like google earth but just a little more up to date as in the shot's your looking at they are some time this years just don't know how many months old they are.
