Hey,

I didnt get a chance to introduce myself, because I just found this introduction section.
I'm from Calgary and havent really got into a lot of fishing in BC but trying to get out more. I've been out to a few places in north Van, the fraiser, and some freshwater lakes. Trying to catch my first Salmon, but without having many friends here who fish rivers, I'm learning through talking to guys at Sea-run, experimentation and research through net and books. Hopefully Ill catch one this season!
And hope to learn a lot here.

Welcome to the board, Ouch. If you are spending a lot of time at Sea-run, you must live in the Tri cities area. Try to meet up with some of the members in that area if you can. Quite a few around there, and lots of them are willing to help out anew guy. (Especially one who might have some good tips on the Bow. )

Welcome ouch! You got to the right place for catching salmons, right forum and right region :thumbup:
I started fishing last year, and if I got so many salmons, you will too trust me :happy:
Sea-Run is a great place to ask for anything, everyone there is so helpful. Just ask and try to go there when they are not so busy dealing with clients (I usually wait until everyone left :happy.
