My fishing partner and I went up to Hicks Lake in Sasquash Park on Saturday June 21. The day was varied with periods of calm, light wind, and down pours with heavy wind. Overall a great day for fishing. We caught a lot of trout on 12-18 inch size using dry flies and trowling with streams (wooley buggers). The camp grounds were full but not a lot of folks on the lake. Had a great time and would recommend it to anyone wanting to get out for a day trip. We caught and released 2 dozen or so fish.

Enjoyed the day!!!

We fished along the shore lines. We would troll in about 20 foot of water and then cast to rises toward the shore line as well. It worked real well. From the boat launch we went out and turned left (east and started around the lake. Hope you do as well up there.
