hey all

thinking about hitting the flow tomorrow.....nice and chilly at -7 in the am should make for an interesting start.....does anyone have suggestions on hitting water in these really cold conditions??....where the fish might be?? gear to use??

Well, use bait, or scented things. Such as pink worms with a bit of wool in the bait loop, then put some scent on the wool. My fav in cold weather is a bc orange gooey bob with some scented wool. As for where they are, well they won't be willing to much that much, so shorten up the leader to around 14-16" and try to keep your presentation about 6" off the bottom. So find the bottom, then shorten up about 6 ". I hope this helps, I will be out there on Sunday. Looking forward to your report.
