What a brutal couple of days

I just had ANOTHER cancellation due the sudden death of one of a close relative of one of my long time regulars.

The days were August 10th thru the 12th. I got a deposit already and i'm offering up those dates at a discount because of it.

I think a lot of everyones clients are an aging group, it's just part of life.

I have really come to looking forward to my long time customers, heard all about their kids and trips they take have become really freindly with them over the years, they always ask about my wife as she has an ongoing illness and is my son still at the Coop. Some even phone and apologise because they can't make it this year. They have become real special, hate to see anything bad happen to them...

That's so true, Bret. These folks own property in the area and have been fishing with me for 15 years. I got a third deposit when they booked in January so the rate is only 2 thirds.
