I would say it was a pretty good year. I started fishing for steelies after I got back from my Costa Rica trip, around mid January. My very first cast, I landed a 10 lbs hatchery crome buck. Had some great days out there, my best being 6 fish to hand in one outting. I ended this year with 35 steelies to hand, and I lost count on how many I lost, due to freezing cold hands. Last year I landed 33. So 68 fish in the last two years is not too bad. Just wondering how some of you guys and gals made out this year? :beerchug:

Last year I was stuck on 13............This year I has better luck on the smaller tribs in the lower mainland and padded my stats by two rather successful trips to the Stamp combined with a nice outing with Fish Finder in the Chilli, I was able to bring 25 to hand. I don't count the long line releases and the smart fish that roll on the gravel and become disengaged all the time, nor all the two headshakes and gone.....Fish to hand
Ortho 25 ......Escapees 15 ;D ;D

Zero fish! Seven whole days and hooked only two, but I sure had a great time, and met some nice folks who taught me a bunch towards next years hunt.

I can honestly say I don't know how many I caught this year...I didn't count, but I can say I remember each and every day out there was awesome, I feel they were all successes in one or more ways! Although come to think of it, some of those days were real tough, but despite that, they were a successful part of the process...

All in all, I'd say it was a great year!
