how much work do you miss because of fishing? just wondering if some of you get the fall flu? or the coho coughs.

Not enough. :'( Oh I miss those days. :-\ However I didn't get my Coho cough vaxination this year. ;D

From sept until december, last year I skipped work one day a week, and every w-e one day as well!!
And it seems like they don't miss me at work

I used to work graveyards in the fall in the welding/logging shop so i was out every morning so i didnt wake up the family when i got home early so i went fishing plus one weekend day so 6 days a week for about a year and a half..... now i can get out twice dureing the week and one somtimes 2 days on the weekend if im lucky

When my brother lived in Abby years ago he threw his back out peeling an orange the 3rd week of September, funny, it took 2 months to heal : I never seem to have that luck though, I'm stuck to weekends or stat. holidays :'(

fishing wont pay my mortgage,but i do get 6 weeks of holidays a year.(plus unlimited sick time )

I usually go 2-3 days a week in fall and winter right into late spring! Fishing slows for me in summer but hopefully get a jet next year and it's game on! O0

Yes we work the same - so it makes it alot nicer to go during the week - we dont often go on weekends if we can help it.

being self employed really sucks ! I worked in the carpenters union for 12 years and I would miss at least 1 day a week, my employer was so wise he would check my fishing licence when I would return to work.

so no more sick days for me.
