I can see that most of the posts on here are mostly politcaly correct and that I haven't see much about how the fishing is or that how or whats spots are fishing well. It seems that the more of you complian about how bad the fishing is insteed of how the fishing was seems to get more responses. I don't know how many of you are from the lower fraser or how many are from the upper but it seems like this is just like a political battle. I have really enjoyed the discussions here but it seems to be losing it's edge. I see nornmal disscussion turned into long winded arguments that leed no where. Lets get back to what this site is about BRITISH COLUMBIA FISHING REPORTS. I have been an excutive on a local rod and gun club for over 12 years now and can see this in and outsides of the club. I am sorry for those of you I offened but, please I am a fisher and hope to meet all of you and enjoy what we all share as a great way of life together.It's a great time of the year. Let's enjoy......

Your concerns, I am quite sure, are shared by many of the other members Salmonatoer. Some of the
political debates going on are a way to publically air opinions and differences. There aren't too many
folks that can stomich political ranglings but the the truth of the matter, like in many other cases IMO,
is that this is a nescessary evil and one given a loose to some what firmly held riegn at times ion order
to gauge the sentiment of the overall moral majority.

no need to apologize salmonator i agree with you on alot of things you said. i myself might not be pissed off but i am some what disgusted with how many of us on here need to measure our penis's sometimes. isnt the saying "length doesnt matter" LOL we all know it does just ask a woman LOL but here it does not. we all fish, love to fish, and most of us defend our resource as much as we can. We always have the same arguments every year, examples would be: bottom bouncing-good or bad, complaining about FN netting when we get hardly an opening, people transferring BBing to smaller flows(soon to come), and so may more that im not going to list them.

lets stop bitching and do more fishing ;D i fish every saturday if not more. man im one relaxed guy :happy:

Sad to hear your loss, Salmonator. Thank you for bringing up the issue before it becomes a habbit on this boards. I agree with you all the way on avoiding anything on our posts that will lead to ego dictated rants. I'm sure MAJORITY of the people in this boards are knowing, polished and tested anglers. Let's help each other to better ourselves as humans and anglers.

My condolences Salmonator, that is a tough loss for sure. I also lost someone very special to me two months back :'( Fishing helps keep to keep me sane, I just hope it rains when I go...hang in there.

I too have made more than one post in regards to all the bickering and backstabbing that goes on in here. I try to be a diplomatic as I can, but dang.... you can only beat a dead horse soo many times.

I made a post awhile back when the whole "flossing" controversy was in full swing. I commented to members to ask themselves WHY they joined this forum. Did they do it to make friends? Learn more about the sport? Get up to date reports? Make new friends? I suspect so, I know that's whay I joined.

I won't go into any details, but I have used my 8 lives already............My next one will likely be the last...I have adopted the attitude that "life is too short to drink cheap wine or surround yourself with people you don't like'........Sorry to hear of your loss, Salmonator.
