I'm going ice fishing in a couple of weeks here in the West Kootenays at a high mountain lake...other than making sure the ice is thick enough and NO TROLLING with the skidoo....any hints would be welcome.

Well I have been a couple of times now to Jewell Lake.....marvelous...lots of Brookies and the occassional Rainbow...my last one was a 2 lb bow.....very sweet.
