I am not sure 100%, but I know that lakes at elevation much less than the ones you are interested in are still frozen!!

one can still hope..... I worry that many of "secret" puddles in my hometown may suffer from winterkill this year as I have never seen the ice on this long into May ever!! I pushed my holidays back a week in late May but I am worried that I will be just in time for turnover. :'(
