I got these stuff from army & navy long time ago.

Those are all 1/2 onz, and around twice heavier than normal jigs.

I'm not quite sure that it's proper for steely, but it seems to be good for a deep and fast run.

Any comment will be appreciated~!!

most jigs for steelhead would be 1/4 or 1/8oz. those are a little large, but may work in poorer vis, or slightly faster water. they might also be useful for pocket water, with a 12 inch leader. they'd get down in a hurry., only one way to find out! you would not need much split shot.

I also have caught alot of steel on jigs, I prefer jigs tied with a marabou/rabbit strip mixture. Just my preference, it's a confidence thing.
