Knights is typically better in late June-early July. But if you are to go up there, try Hoya. I guide up out of Hardy, but we used to go out of McNeill to Knights and thats where we caught all our nice Springs. Where abouts are you from?
I'm from Campbell River and was planning to Launch in Kelsey Bay and run up through the East side of Cracroft Island. How bad do the Outflow winds get? Is it a first and last light show up there? Or are there bites all day depending on the tides like CR?
Knights is a huge inlet, long and skinny. It acts like a wind funnel. In the afternoon it gets REALLY rough in there so you should watch out for that. Mainly on tides, like most fishing spots. Are you staying on your boat up there, how big is she?
