Im headed to lac la hache from the 22nd till the 29th. Bringing the big boat to try for some big lakers and do some flyfishing around the area. Anyone have any lake suggestions near lac la hache or tips on the lakers? Thanks!!

greeny lake, snag lake, and timothy lake are all within a hour of lac la hache and offer much better flyfishing....my experience on lac la hache is trolling wedding bands and downriggers for lake trout and kokanee

I used to fish Lac La Hache every summer as a kid. Willow leaf troll, triple teaser, dick nite, midge wobbler were the stand bys. Lots of Kokanne and the odd rainbow on hardware. I found fly fishing would produce rainbows more consistently. Never had any luck with the lakers.
