Wow, thanks for the link. A great idea.

Years ago, I met this guy who would make concrete sinkers with a bit of coat hanger wire and various moulds, ranging from film canisters to sodapop cans. He used these for his sinker-release set up when trolling, and insisted they were more environmentall friendly than lead. I like the idea of using these sand sinkers better though!

This is another nice way to take care of our waters, and it is not just a good rainy project for kids! I'll try to make some of them soon. thanks a lot for the link. :beerchug:
