I'm heading up towards Princeton this weekend and I was curious if anyone has fished the area .... most likely gonna do anything from shore

Any tips/info will be appreciated.

There are a lot of little lakes up the 5A, note sure if they are iced off yet. Last summer I dropped into the tackle shop in Princeton and after buying a handfull of flies the guy was drawing me maps of his personal favourites.

Don't have my map book with me right now so I can't remember the name, but I've fished a couple of the lakes that are through the ranch entrance about 1/2 way up the 5A. Help me out here guys what are the names of these lakes? You turn in through the ranch's arched gate (two poles and a cross log) and then stay to the left and up the hill, not to the right and down that goes to the ranch.

Thalia, Ricky, Goose, Larry, Kump rest I cannot remember. :beerchug:
Thanks Spiker it was Kump I was trying to remember.

Its a nice little lake and not far in from 5A. I would recommend a 4x4 though. When I was there last year the last little part of the logging road down to the lake had been regraded or filled and it was a combination of big loose stones and soft loose dirt. I can't say what it would be like now though, but at the time I was glad to have the clearance and 4 wheel drive just in case.
