Hope everyone is doing well.

I am headed out on Thursday morning from Thunderbird in West Van. Just curious where people may suggest to try? We will be hittin' the water at 6. It sounds as though things have been pretty quiet along West Van so maybe down towards the Fraser?? If anyone has been gettin' fish......may I ask what they have been hittin' on?

Thanks in advance if anyone has any ideas.

Fished from about 5:30 until dark today.
Saw one fish in the teens taken had one hard strike ourselves.
Absolutely stunning evening, the air so clear, the mountains so close, the gorgeous sunset then moonrise over the city.

Thanks for the report Dogbreath. Looking at the tides I think we have switched to heading out early to mid afternoon on Thursday to catch the flood. Seems a bit better than heading out for a few hours in the morning. This way I just call the work day over when I see fit and as opposed to the reverse the last thing I want to do after fishing through the early morning is to have to concern myself with work afterwards.

Well.....headed out for the late day "flood" yesterday and to sum it up......quiet. There was maybe about a dozen boats out and in the couple hours we were out we saw two fish landed.....one smaller guy, but there was one boat that hauled in a biggie just after 6pm.

We had herring down and threw a plug on one of the four rods just for kicks......we had one hit but that was about it.
