I went there for work. I can't remember the names of the charters, but I remember there being one that had a lot of pongas, and super pongas. Pretty good deals too. I phoned one guy, and he said he'd pick me up at the hotel at 5am, and bring me out for a full day for a few hundred bucks.
I made other plans, but the cost seemed good. There is a big harbor that is on the north side of the city that has huge expensive offshore boats that would probably tackle the largest waves and run many miles off shore, but obviously the cost would be huge for this.
