I personally like the people at White moose the best, don't bother with Loon lake resort, Emerald log cabins are nice, but I don't like the owners, I don't think they're to crazy about me either mind you

i usually stay at the first ones on the lake i think they are called evergreen. those guys can be meatheads some times but usually have good info on surrounding lakes. maybe they just dont take well to the younger crowd though, even though i have never given them any grief. stayed at white moose a long time ago but didnt find them any more welcoming  just got back from there two days ago and the fishing was slow. the only flies that were producing all the time were green spratleys with a bit if red on the tail about 20 to 40 feet down. tried another lake 50km away toward bonaparte lake and caught two over 20" and lost a few others, but it seemed fishing was pretty slow. going back friday night with the girlfriend and hitting a few lakes around loon to see if they are doing any better. good luck.

We have stayed at Evergreen for years, (the first one you come to) They have been building new cabins there for about 10 years. Trouble is people return year after year at the same time so it's hard to get your time reserved. Once you have a time it's yours for next year until you turn it down. Nice cabins tho. BCKID
