upriver of the portmann, try the left hand channel along the log booms of that island... then go up to the mouth of the pitt along the poco side....Eulachons....
Lower Fraser Sturgeon spots
Hello all!!
Well with all this talk of hot sturgeon fishing I think it's time to give er a rip! Talked to Gary at Riverside and asked him about the boats you see off the maryhill bypass between the footbridge and pitt river road. He says there er sturgeon in those waters!! So has anyone fished this area? From the launch under the port mann is there any other spots I can try?
Never fished for sturgeon before, so just kinda piecing together info from the site and kinda got a game plan. Any other words of advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all!
