I am planning on heading out from MacDonald beach sometime this week and am looking for some advise. What areas would you recomend in this area? If near the mouth of the Fraser, is the South arm better than the North arm? If out further what sort of depth should I be looking for? Any and all advise will be appreciated. Thanx and enjoy the sunshine!!

I believe that there is some decent fishing right out of the mouth of the North Arm.

Just head south as soon as you are out of the river and start fishing - depths run from about 60ft to 150ft.
It's been 7 or 8 years since I fished there so the details are a little murky.

There are a number of areas around there that produce well - QA marker, Sandheads, etc

If you search the forum, there's tons of info for you:

As said above QA, Sandheads and T-ten.
Note the tides though; on the north arm: outgoing fraser meeting incoming tide Equals some big surfing or major pounding.
