I was out Saturday and Sunday with the flyrod, lost one steelie a dark one Saturday morning , sunday i went to the same spot and saw 2 steelhead sitting in the shallow water , didn't notice them until after i spooked the crap out of them when i walked into about 1 ft of water, couldn't believe these 2 were sitting so close to the beach and they were monsters as well. No love for me on sunday !!!

Good report Fishfreak. I was out both day's on my spey with nothing to show for it but oh well thats fishing. Sounds like those fish you saw were on the reds! Its always cool seeing spawning steelhead
