To humor myself, yesterday, I took my dogs for a walk down to the train bridge to watch the beaks at the snag fest. Now....keep in mind all those that were fishing were adults, most adults being those who can dress themselves, drive themselves and fish on their own. But my question is....why can't you pick up after yourself??? I found out fairly quick that it was a hazard to walk around, not only for my dogs but for myself. I was tripping over lines and hooks everywhere along the pathway, little own the shoreline. Why is it so difficult to cut your riggin and place it in the bag or container you brought with you? Are you that respectful at home? Anyone ever heard of leave no trace? It's bad enough finding all the "toilets" along the paths along the river....but hooks and line can be a hazard for many. Please have some respect and clean up after yourself....you are adults...you shouldn't have to be told.

thanks for my rant... I realize it is the same as many others.

I hear ya. I like to think the majority does take home their crap but I'm optimistic. It's just from what I've read on this forum most of these guys here are all enviro friendly and usually leave with more than they came with. It does feel good to rant sometimes though. My :2cents: :beerchug:

Sunday (5:00 pm) at the Mission boat launch some Scarecrow (NO BRAIN) left his garbage bag of fish guts on the gravel across from the pay box and about 40 feet from the garbage can. You talk about disgusting ......... absolutely unbelievable.
