I noticed something odd when i was packing today. I was goofing around spinning my avon when I noticed how much better it spun when it was not locked it. I think the drum is rubbing against the main reel, it so slight, but fixing it would make a world of difference. I would have a much better performing centerpin if I fixed it. I am wondering if I could get it sanded down a bit. But I should probably have it done professionally. Then again this could be normal. And yes, this is the first time i ever tried spinning it without it being locked in. So I have been using it for a long time like this The reel is still ok but it would spin amazingly well if I could fix this little problem
