was up around nahatlatch river and lakes hunting in november .i met one of the locals by the lake we got to talking about the fish in the lakes .he told me about the nice dollies that live in there .i asked him about salmon he told me coho chum and pinks run it and also a very big run of winter steelhead he said the water turns with fish ...now i want to no if this is true so i dont waste a 3 hour drive to bosten bar to find out its bull .. its catch and release of course .there all wild fish .let me know if you know

That report you have is from very long ago, recent returns have been dismal. To the extent that recent sesaons the river has been closed to winter angling. Shame as these fish were reverred for there size and beauty.
Provincial govt have really let some of the greatest steelhead strains in the WORLD, shrink to these sad numbers of fish, too bad as they will never again "TURN THE WATER" as wa reported to you. Nice place to take a camera though, or whitewater raft.

oh wow that is a shame it is a very nice peace of water .thanks for the info .so i geuss what i herd about steelhead was true they are becoming endangerd is there any hope for these old fish ? :?

I have rafted it twice. At the time I was too focused on staying in the raft :shock: :shock: :shock:

below the lakes are closed but im just going to go to the vedder because everyone knows the vedder is better :twisted:

good day fisher persons,If you want any real luck at the Naht. need to go to the end of the lakes where the beaver ponds are ,may not be any of those bruiser salmon,dolies from 10"-my biggest 17" bulldozer .Caught a couple res.bows 13" .tight lines.
