I have a question for you guys Names for pools along the Vedder have about as much variation as the people fishing them. What is the name of that beautiful piece of water by the river rafting camp You could not miss it, it's a huge deep run below the boulders where two branches come together. I don't fish the upper areas often, but that is one of the nicest holes I've seen in a while with the exception of all the long leaders flyin' Is that what is referred to as Bell acres ( across the river from it)

I don't know if that is Bell acres. Bell Acres is just up from the pointa vista cafe and is actually on the road called Bell Acres rd. It is also a nice run. I know the one you are talking about though.

Initially I thought you were referring to what I call the boulder run, but you might be speaking of what some call Osbourne...

Big gravel bar island? Riprap on the Chilliwack Rd. side? Don't know if it has a name(maybe we could call it the CD Run). Well above Osbourne Rd., well below the ancient Boulder Run.

That might be the one osboure, If you go to the end of the gravel rd, and walk in from there straight to the river. It's a huge run not many like it on the river. two parts of the river come together, big deep piece of water, I think it might be just below bell acres. there are houses along the opposite side.Just curious

Are you coming in from the backside, down at the very end? Then that would be Bell Osbourne

Sounds to me like you are talking about osbourne CD...if you drive in from the chilliwack side of the river, it is actually on osbourne rd. let us know if that's the one you speak of...

sounds like osbourne road to me as it is the only area that the river splits around that general area.bell acres is the piece of water above that split by the big rock in the middle of the river.

The Ranger Run was destroyed back in the fall of 1988, there is no such run any longer.

Is it the run where you can see the large piece of drift wood painted up to look like an Orca (on the dike downstream on eastern side) ?
