nanoose bay

Yes, the coho enter the bay and hang around just about this time of year, where they go is a mystery to me, but I do know there are a couple of guys that troll around the highway shore for them. I went up to Nile Creek and also checked out the back side of French Creek marina 3 days ago and no sign of any coho at all. If you have a boat to use go to Brown's Bay just north of Campbell River, the Chums are in and in absolute mint condition. Fish the opposite shore of Brown's Bay with Bubble Gum Hootchies at 35 to 60 feet, slow troll. I have been up there twice in the past week and am not complaining. I am leaving to go to Alaska for week of fishing . so tight lines
