Well at long last there is going to be a new gas barge for False Creek. Opening date according to the retailer is going to be in May sometime. They're gutting the old barge now. Installation of lines, pumps, tanks, et al. are going to be start next week. I asked the guy if it was going to be a major and they said no, it was going to be an independent.

We can only hope the prices are reasonable.

It will likely get scraped in late April....had a look the other day.... the longshore drift is increasing....just as poor as it ever was. For boaters who trailer, plan your launching and haul outs strategically. No upgrades planned for this year that I am aware of. 16 footers or less on mid tides.....larger boats ok with 4WD at low tides only. High tides only for all else or if you don't want to saltwater bathe your truck.
