HI ALL, new to the forum, really like the set up,looks good. Wondering if anyone has done any ice fishing in the aberdeen,vernon area? Its been so mild I havn't even considered it until my boys started asking me when we get to go. Also I have a week of training in Harrison and I am cotemplating fly fishing any lakes or rivers close by that are not frozen , but really dont know the area. Is it worth while or just to slow this time of the year? Any way im sure youll hear more from me or at least until spring :lol: CHEERS

Welcome to the forum! You can check out various areas on the Harrison for some cutthroat action or go to the Chehalis River for steelhead and cutties...best bet tho is the Chilliwack River for steelhead...or fish the backwaters and creek mouths on the Fraser for cutthroat. No ice here; but the water is cold, making for sluggish fish. Try the smaller lakes and sloughs for cutties they tend to stay a little more active in cold water.

Awesome,thanx for the info. Leave in a week and a half to harrison so I'll let you know if I can sneek any time off. I'll definately have to fit in a fishing trip to the coast this year. Seems like their is definately alot of variety!
