Hello guy's, I got out for the first time ever last weekend in the straight. We fished the hole in the wall and around Bowen Island. Had two on and one jumping out of the water. Came home empty handed but had a great time. I want to go out on july 28-29 weekend and was thinking around the Fraser estuary. What is the fishing like around the sand heads, or the mouth of the Capilano River? Does the water get crazy rough,
what would you recommend this time of year. :peace:

Cap mouth is best on a flood tide and I wouldn't bother any other time unless there was no other choice due to high winds or something like that.

Yes the Fraser mouths can be rough so much so that many people don't bother ever fishing there but it depends, the buoy known as the QA marker is often as good.
