Fished Defence Islands on the 18th around the low slack. Had one rod shaker but it didn't stick.

Tunstall Bay on 19th along with about 6 or 7 other boats. Quite a few fish taken and hooked with in an hour of the low slack. I boated a 17 lber and lost another. Anchovy at 80 and 90 ft.

Fished Tunstall on 20th with another boat and got nothing. So moved over to work between Cowan and the QA. One guy got a 15 lber but that was it unless you were over at Gabriola where the bite was on according to the VHF.

Nice report. My goal is to one day fish as much as you.

Interesting how the bite was on at low slack after that 10 foot tide drop. The sechelt area guys always seem to like fishing the lows best. I seem to have more luck on the floods and highs most places around Van. Can't figure out where to find the little buggers on the ebb.

Yeah up in Howe Sound I like to go about an hour or an hour and a half before the low and maybe 30 minutes after the low ....after that it seems like you are just burning fuel...although the scenery is nice and the beer is cold the price of gas is tayloring my fishing habits... Down in the Vancouver Harbour around the Cap it seem like the incoming tide works the best...but who's to tell...cause some times i've caught a few on the outgoing as well...
