Hook this one today got a couple of pics and away it went
I was fishing the upper river clarity was pretty good you could see the bottom
moved down a bit to Alison and it was cloudy about 6" to 10" visability
nothing doing there so i tried on the way
nothing doing there so i made it an early day as i has lots to do at home
weather was great had to take off a few layers in the end
only seen one other fish and it was wild too

Looks like it could be a brood stock fish? Could have just taken it from the tank for a quick snap and put it back.

ok just to put some of you right
when i hooked the fish there were two guys fishing near by (hatchery fishermen)one of them landed the fish for me and told me it was wild and asked if they could put it in a holding tube
they had allready got one in a holding tube and had called the hatchery
when the truck turned up they brought my fish up and i asked if one of them would take a photo of me with it
as i took a hold of it the hatchery guy noticed it had an open wound on its side
therfore they did not want to keep it as it would get infected in the holding tank
so two quick pics and we let it loose
i wa glad to try help the hatchery
i guess if you post a picture you have to explain every single detail just in case someone doubts you
bait of choice oh! dont have to tell my rod is not in the picture

As for critiquing pics...many other sites on the net tend to degenerate in instances like these. There's nothing like a little pm to set things straight. This site of ours tends to be quite civilized, doubters, cynics and ego strokers and trolls seem to be at a minimum here, let's all please keep it that way! This is a great site, let's not follow the examples of other sites, but rather set the example of how a great site should be...I think we're doing a pretty good job of this already, and I am glad this thread didn't blow up...I would find that embarassing and out of character for BCFR...

Nice work on the fish britguy, too bad it couldn't go to brood because of the wound...thanks for clearing things up for us....

Thats the hatchery truck he is standing on showing the fish as he drops it into the tank BGM. Some of you's really like to get on other's backs about things .This is a real fishing site 8) , not a mock fishing web site that let's other's beak others off!! :-X Join them if you like that kinda stuff on the other sites and stay away from us with the negitave attitude!! Good Job Britguy!! Nice fish !! it will have 10000 babies for you to catch in 3 years from now.
