has been nothing for me untill today........fished up and down this stretch of water for about 45 minutes this morning with nothing to show for it.........i was going to leave that run so i threw out one last cast and walked it back towards the bank.......as i was walking my drift and trying to watch where i was walking in the water and trying to keep an eye on my float at the same time down goes the float......i slammed the hook home and fish on........finally......big fish/chrome.....some nice air time/couple of nice runs and then slid it into the shallows......13 to 14 lb wild doe......turned her around by the tail and then gone like a bullet.........20 minutes later hit fish 2 casts in a row but could not hang on to them......walked over to my gear to get another shrimp and this guy slides into my spot and bam fish on.......nice 10 lb hatch buck......no problem though.....i even helped him land.....we talked for a while......decent guy......water and weather were great

Great job, sounds like fun!! I hope this is shaping up to be a great season. I will be back at it for the next couple days. I am more determined than ever, and I will finally get my first of the year. Thanks for the motivation!! ;D
