got this okuma instinct i 400 lx baitcasting reel today..
i am a newbie..first time using baitcasting reel. and i think this crap is broken...first day..havent even used it yet..i am so disappointed with this crap i am going to refund it and buy a shimano one...
has this ever happened to anyone b4? just wondering...

I would suggest if you're on a budget to go and get an Abu Garcia 6500. If not go Daiwa Luna or Shimano Calcutta. Remember you gat what you pay for when it comes to reels!

Cabela's has the Abu 5500 and 6500 on for 69.99 US plus shipping. I'm waiting to get my left hander.

i have a shimano Catala its only one step down from the calcutta works great no problems of course now im a "pinner" so its the g/f's to use LOL Im not sure if they make this reel anymore so I would say get the Calcutta I think Cabelas sells them also ;D


good way to save some money buying online. TONS of abu's on Ebay also
