Anyone got any info on how the oyster supposed to be this year. when are the trout going to start poppin in?

I was on a an MX/ATV ride along the river (and area) about 3 weeks back. Some very nice spots and I wish I had my rod for steelies. :'(
I saw only one guy on the river between the Inland Hwy and the old Island Hwy. I have no idea how he was doing because we kept a good distance so not to disturb him.
I never fished for the sea-runs in the area, but you may have better luck on the shore than in the river for the next while. :
