Pacific Angler Spey Course with Dana Sturn

We are pleased to announce our Pacific Angler Spey Course with FFF certified instructor Dana Sturn accompanied by Jason Tonelli. This two part course is designed with the beginner to intermediate spey caster in mind.

The first part of the course is from 6:00 pm -9:00 pm at Pacific Angler. During this time we will discuss the different rods, reels, and lines available today, proper gear set up, and different casting strokes. This will be followed by a question and answer period.

The second part of the course is on the water casting instruction for 8 hours. We will travel by jet boat to a location where we will practice river left and river right casts. All the major casting styles will be covered. You will learn Spey casts that will allow to go out and fish with two-handed rods.

Students will also receive a Spey Pages Limited Edition Instructional DVD featuring Dana Sturn, Tyler Kushnir, and Poul Bech.

Students are encouraged to bring their own rods and reels to the course. If you wish to purchase a rod and reel prior to the course contact Jason Tonelli at Pacific Angler for expert advice on a set up suitable for your needs.

There will be Sage, CND, and G.Loomis demo rods for the students to try as well.

Jason, Dana I love you guys ;D but $200. I think I'm in the wrong line of work  A bottle of Crown & a few Marley's & I'll have ya shootin' line into the trees on the other side of the river :beerchug: LOL

But seriously folks...If your new to the two-hander & want to smash that learning curve a day of instruction is a MUST. You can take months or even years off of that curve. Money well spent. Popularity of all things Spey is really taking off these days...don't be left out. Johnny
