Hey yall,

Just wondering if you guys have any suggestions for fishing Little Pinaus Lake (BC) by Falkland? I tried there a couple of weeks ago around dusk, and the fish (trout and perch) were jumping like crazy, but none of them would take either spinners, or flys. I have intentions of making my way back out there again sometime this week and have prepared myself with a few tom's thumbs and leaches, but was wondering if there are any other hints that could increase my chances of getting a fish on. Thanks!

I had some luck with #8 olive damsel imitations - emphasis on "luck".

Might start to see some travelling sedge hatches SdPy, the tom thumbs are good for that as a general pattern, but there are other more precise immitators that can prove useful, and besides leeches you might consider some dragonfly nymphs, and obviously some caddis pupae too.

A few patterns for both are always good to have in the box, especially this time of year.
