watch pinks dig them out of the sand at the mouth of the vedder in years past. They work very well on river bound pinks. Standard sizes 1/8, 1/4 and 3/8oz.
Jigs are humpie candy. I've fished beside boats casting flys and outfish them 3 or more to 1. Master the 'twitch' and you'll get pinks fighting to grab it. Now to set the record straight, I am talking about a pink jig head and a pink plastic tail - not marabou jigs. Marabous are awesome but I reserve those for coho (I almost...almost retired my hotshot collection cuz of them). Plastic tails are cheap which is good cuz a few humpies will rip those puppies up
how many pinks are their??? GET A REEL ROD GUYS, THE LONG NOODLIE TYPE and just enjoy the DAY. the fish are just a BONUS to a day on the water. does anyone really need too catch a 100 too have a GOOD day???
