Hi All
Fished from July 26th to July 30, 2010 and the fishing was fantastic !
Fished from China Creek to Namint and caught my pos limit with ease !
Fished very deep from 85' to 120' at a fast 3.0 - 3.5 knott speed
Used a MP15 on a 24" leader with a dummy flasher 10 below.
The commercial guys were fishing almost every day I was fishing and it didn't seem to make much of a difference because the sport fishing remained excellent.
First year in 25 years that I have seen the fishing as good as it was in Port.
I hear the Spring fishing is just heating up (7 mile bank out of Bamfield) and they are expecting an excellent Coho run with HUGH Coho reported on there way end of Aug - Sept.
If you get a chance and you want to catch the Springs or Coho's maybe look at Bamfield or China Creek.
Get out and get'em
Good Luck
