I was up in PH from the 7-11th and had some good fly fishing at the mouth of the Keogh! some good numbers of fish and very active bites! The area was quite crowded in the day but late afternoons/evenings were awsome! Many pinks in tha area have a parasite (red splotches/bumps) on the skin, but apparently they are not a serious problem/risk if you retain fish. Lots of fresh silver fish. We talked to one of the fisheries biologist an the river and he suggested they expect 100,000+ pinks to return this year. Best time is last week in Aug. first in Sept. We also had an excellent morning fishing dries on the Marble for rainbows to 16-18". great trip!!
