Going up to Port Hardy next week for a week of fishing and wanted to know if anyone has any information on how fishing has been? I know I was catching kings and coho's in the 3rd week of June last year. Will post my results when I return.
port hardy salmon/halibut

My father/Mother in law lives in port mcniell about 30 minutes outside of hardy , he has been out and about for salmon and halibut, he has hooked into one spring so far but lost it.. still slow but there is a few around, he has a couple of halibut allready, he bonked a 62 pounder and a 45 pounder so far but he doesnt fish all the time as of yet, im heading there in about 3 weeks for a week of fihsing and family reunion, my father in law used to be a saltwater guide, so he kows where to go and when to go out. still a bit early... should be good when we go there at the end of the month.. Hopefully LOL !!!

If you dont have much luck around the Port & the wind is up , you can also try the mouth of Quatsino sound , there always seem to fish there, & less wind if the direction is right
