Hello!

I am a student who will be attending UNBC this fall. My home waters are near Calgary AB. I am extremely excited for my first season in BC and am looking for some direction on places and techniques to use while fishing in BC. I am a experienced Fly fisherman. I will be just outside Prince George would love to get some advice on where are some good places to start exploring and learning the water. If you have anything your willing to share with me everything is greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Conrad

Hey EagleEye,
Welcome to the community. The first place I'd start is a local fly shop and the purchase of the Backroads Mapbook for your area. The local knowledge you get at the shop combined with that contained in the book and on google earth (in addition to the grit and determination of a fly fisher) will get you into fish. Also try the search feature on this site and, perhaps, a local might even post on this thread. I look forward to hearing of your successes up there.
