No info on the Copper or Deena, but did speak to a pal that was at the Pallant / Braverman last week. At that time fishing was slow for coho, although he did report getting his limit every day along with one just over 20 pounds. I imagine that Copper and Deena are in similar shape.

Hey Fishtail : do you know anything about the winter run steelhead in the Yakoun? I am planning to go up there in late Nov. Have you fished it for steelhead?
Any Info would be useful....I prefer to flyfish.

If you can get there the Yakooun has a killer run of winter steelies starting in December.I'm not sure how long it lasts but there in there. The weather in this area at tyhis time of year can gat pretty rough.

Yakoun Steelhead

It's a great river and fishable for Steelhead from about mid-Nov to March, although peak times are late December to late February. I don't live up there anymore but still have a buddy who guides on the Yakoun and prefers to flyfish. His name is Norm Desilets and his number is 250-557-4447. He will probably take you out to Branch 40 to start and possibly up to Canyon, however, there is a lot of good holding water. I recommend getting Norm to guide you for a day and then take a couple of days and do some walking.

Good Luck!
