The top end (Langara Island) is fishing very well right now, and there's plenty of fish to be had for everyone that has competent fishing skills. Speaking with a couple of lodge managers and guides I know up there, there is plenty for everyone, with quite a few over 40, and lots of halibut.

As for Skidegate and Rennell, they should be coming right along nicely soon here if not already.

Just got back from fishing Virago Sound. 10 Springs by 10 am is the norm. Fishing Cape Naden/ Parker Pt. in the early am and then Piggy Bay to Mazzies.Fish up to 40# but most in the 20-30# range. LOTS of Hali. Good Luck.
