Last I heard it was excellent!

I haven't been yet this year but I have a friend who is a guide (Harold Wilson, Haida Soul Charters, Skidegate, 559-8397) who tells me it has been excellent. Feel free to call him for an update and tell him that Jason McNamee told you to call.

Good Luck!

NO WAY!! My family is really good friends with Harold. We chartered him and his buddy Ron. We go down there in our own boats now. We are heading down there on the 1st of July. I 'll tell him you say hi. Thanks for the reply.

Give Harold and Debbie a big HOWA!

and good luck to you....

I love fishing Skidegate point, Marble Island and Gudal Bay.

One thing I have found is that on sunny days you can usually nail springs at 80'+ at startup. Also, I like to add cream to my bait...helps keeps the scales on the bait which keeps them shiny.

Cheers

Cream

Just regular milk cream...its supposed help keep the scales on your bait longer, therefore making them shinier longer.
