Most of my bass plugs have two treble hooks hanging on the belly and the tail.

Do I have to take one of the hooks out to be legitimate in BC bass ponds?

Second, is Fish Trap Creek in Abby regarded as slough or pond?

Hi chummer, Im not 100% sure but I believe fishtrap creek is considered moving water, river/stream which would require single barbless. Here is the link to the region 2 regulations. Always good to ask questions first before going out and getting into trouble! :thumbup:

I remember seeing that they are changing the hook regs to a new style which is not easy to snag things. When does this take effect?

There has been talk about moving to Circle hooks for some time now.
I also believe that it may be in effect in certain parts of the province on a trial basis.
As always, I will stand corrected if more knowledgable members reply.
