I am looking around for a raft that would be capable of 3 to 7 day trips down remote rivers. Was wondering if any of u out there have any experience or pointers on what I should look for. Ive heard about 14 ft is around what i should get into and their are a bunch of different raft frames that you can choose... any info/experience would be helpful, these things are damn expensive!!!

Bigsky boats look to be made of PVC. I wouldn't trust my life to PVC. :naughty:
I saw nowhere what material is used for thier construction.
I'd stick to the top brand names Zodiac, Achilles, Polaris, Avon.
You didn't look very hard, but you're right:
High Quality 30 OZ, 1000 Denier, PVC

Thanks for the imput. I am more looking for something along the lines of a true hypalon self bailing raft that can handle a few class 3 rapids, pack a bunch of gear and provide a decent fishing platform.... Ive heard of a few guiding companies using NRS or Aire rafts... just curious if anyone has any experience with those types of crafts...
