Hi everyone,
I moved to Vancouver in January, and will be staying until later this year before moving back to my hometown of San Francisco. I'm a flyfisherman who calls the streams of the Sierra Nevada his second home.
So far, I've fished a couple of lakes in the Squamish and Whistler areas, and the Skagit River. The Skagit is now my favorite up here. If my past couple of trips are typical of every fishing season, I might even call it my new overall favorite (then again, I haven't gone up there on a weekend yet).
I'm looking forward to trying salmon fishing on the fly up here. In California, our salmon and steelhead waters are too unpredictable, so I don't even bother.
