Am I correct that these lines are being discontinued? Talking to the "spey pros" they are leaving these line and moving on to an assortment of new lines.

What do we do with our Midspeys now that there are better and easier lines to cast?

what do you do with your Mid spey? If you can cast it well, if it's not cracking on you yet, you just plain and simply fish it until it does. Mine work well and I will keep using them until they wear out. Why spend the money on a new line if this one stills works for you?

In truth when a newer line comes out it is always best to just turf your old lines as they are obviously inferior and won't stand a chance of getting you into fish ever again. I was given this information from several retailers and distributors and find although costly it's best to do as they say. ;D ;)

I've found I've drifted away from the skagit style set-up and am enjoying more the mid belly length, and although tapers may change I don't think they're gonna be all that revolutionary. I still can't quite get the long belly to work as well as I'd like mind you.
