No HP restriction on the lake. Also I don't think that the bayliner is too big. Just the launch and road may be a little tougher on a boat that size. It would definately be a slow go. Also just because of the incline with that much weight, it would be a good idea to have 4 wheel drive. I wasn't sure if your's was?

I'm not sure if i missed you before the lond weekend but there are some other posts about the road. I was up there last weekend or two..anyways you should be fine. You will have to have 4wheel. It is a pretty big boat for up there, you're aware that it's primarly a fishing lake at least at this time of year. I've never been up there in the summer months. I think if you were planning on tearin around with that bayliner you may get some feed back from guys trolling. Good luck.

My mistake, I guess I thought that because I have never seen anything bigger than a cartopper out there. The road does get steep for a while, other wise it can be compared to any other logging road that gets used by BC Hydro. They grade the road a couple of times a year to smooth it out. As for the launch, never launched from there. I have heard of people getting stuck in the mud though.

We decided to rough the weather and take my 12'. Good thing that bayliner would have taken a beating. Weather stayed pretty good till we decided to leave at 4 fishing was very consistent.Lot's of fat 12 -16" rainbows and cutties landed about 15 fish between the three of us I guess the two of us , the brothers father in law only had one fish and long line released it. He insisted on trolling leeches all day. My brother and I the tried tested and true wedding band and worm. Lost a couple of biggies though got really excited and then denied. I'll definatly be returning to this lake. First time there and great fishing good weather= wicked day
